The faculty at StatAssist has years of experience helping doctoral students complete their dissertation. In that time, we have perfected the process of assisting clients with writer's block, editing, organization, structure, integration, synthesis, and style and format (e.g., APA, MLA, and Chicago). We call this integrated process Writing-Support®. It's true that dissertations often appear structurally simple on the surface, with specific sections in chapters laid out in logical sequence. But many candidates soon find out that it can be complex and challenging to find the right words and format to present the content in a professional and scholarly manner —that's why Dissertations are considered capstone projects, and reserved solely for elite scholars—doctoral candidates.
Because StatAssist is comprised of some of the very best university professors and industry professionals, we have the experience and background to get to the heart of the problem fast. Our editing and Writing-Support® team is led by the highly regarded Dr. Kate Emmons. Dr. Kate has developed a unique Writing Support process that makes it relatively simple for you to complete your project in a timely manner. This proven process will take you through a series of steps to help you write each chapter with a lot less stress. Not only can Dr. Kate’s proven strategies save you money, but you'll have a better chance actually enjoying the whole writing process.
Often, doctoral candidates will come to us because their committee members have rejected their proposals--the problems may be due to structural issues or research design problems (Quantitative, Qualitative). When this occurs, our methodology and writing support faculty work with you to discover the core problem and an efficient strategy to make it right, i.e., conforms to committee expectations. Dr. Jim Baxter leads our methodology team and can quickly assess any methodological problems you may have. If redesign or restructure is necessary, it usually only takes a week or so to set things straight and get you back on track. Over the years we have also found that when a client engages us earlier in the process, frustration decreases significantly (this is anecdotal evidence and has not been empirically tested). But all kidding aside, the sooner you engage us the better—we can walk you through some of the mine fields that stop candidates in their tracks.
